Open Metricward and the first thing you see is a short, ranked stack of sentences, not twelve tiles you have to interpret yourself.
Two or three answer cards, in plain sentences.
“Sessions up 12%” with the comparison behind it, which channel carried the most of it, and your most visited page, each with a link straight to the report it came from.
Four numbers that matter, not forty.
Unique visitors, sessions, pageviews and engagement per session, each with its change against the prior period.
One chart, not a grid of them.
A sessions trend with the previous period drawn alongside it, so a rise or a drop has a comparison the moment you look at it.
Three short lists underneath.
Channels, top pages and top events, each ranked, each linking to the full report rather than trying to be the full report.
A new project with no traffic yet shows an empty state that says so, and explains what to do next. A project with traffic but no bot activity does not show a bot card at all. The screen only tells you what is true. An invented number is the fastest way to lose someone who is trying to verify a real integration, so this screen would rather show nothing.
Every figure carries a provenance label, observed, calculated, modelled or generated, so you always know whether you are looking at a count or an estimate. Engagement per session is calculated from raw engagement time; everything else on this screen is observed directly from events.
